About Us
Here at Pulse Arts, we support local artists, educators, and organizations in creating programs that expand access to creative learning for underserved youth across California. We believe art is a necessity, not an option, and we prioritize reaching students and communities that are often overlooked or under-resourced. Our work focuses on meeting young people where they are by partnering with micro-communities and co-creating programs that reflect their needs, identities, and lived experiences. Through a range of disciplines, we help students build confidence, develop creative skills, and explore pathways into the arts. We are committed to keeping arts education accessible and present in schools and communities. Our programs equip youth with tools to express themselves, engage with social issues, and pursue creative careers. This includes mentorship and internship opportunities, support for dual-enrollment and arts pathways, art therapy, and community-centered experiences that bring families into the creative process. At its core, Pulse Arts sees art as something that connects to every part of life. Our goal is to make creative opportunities available early, consistently, and within reach, especially for those who need them most.
